How do I attend?
To help you prepare for the training, we have collated some information about the tools that you will need access to for the live, online training, as well as answers to the most frequently asked questions from previous attendees.
Online Training Tools
What do I need for the training?
- Zoom – We will be using Zoom to host the training including the features of video conferencing, screen sharing and breakout rooms. Please ensure that you have the latest version installed, that you have access to Zoom, and that your webcam is turned on as much as possible to maintain engagement. You will receive the Zoom call meeting details (link to join, Meeting ID and password) for the training in your course ticket email after you have booked your space. Please note that the Zoom call details will be the same for the full duration of the training.
- MURAL – For all courses (other than the Certified LeSS Basics), will be using MURAL, an innovative and cutting edge platform for collaboration. Please check that you are able to access MURAL on the device you will be using for the course ahead of the training. You can read more about MURAL in our guide, link below.
- Miro – For the Certified LeSS Basics training, we will be using Miro instead or MURAL, more information in our guide below.
- Google Docs – You will also need to have access to Google Docs.
- Emails – Please ensure you have access to the email address that was provided upon booking, as we will be sending you an email on the last day of the training to fill in the course register and continuous improvement form. Please note that as these are automated emails, they can sometimes go to your Junk folder.
As the training is online and we will be using a variety of tools at once, using a laptop, computer or device with a large screen is important to ensure that you can actively participate without the limitations of using a smaller device. Reliable internet connection is also vital – see more below.
Testing your internet speed
Due to the tools that we will be using for the training, we recommend that you have an internet download speed of at least 10Mbps to be able to have the best experience. You can test your internet connection using the Google speed test (link below).
