The ICP-ACC or ICAgile Certified Agile Team Coaching Training is one of two knowledge-based certifications in Agile Coaching. This ICP-ACC certification concentrates on the mindset, the roles and the responsibilities of an Agile Coach.

In participating you will learn how to differentiate between mentoring, facilitating, professional coaching and teaching. While engaging in this remote training you will further gain the skills needed to create a safe environment and how you can resolve conflicts within an agile team.

With the ICAgile® Certified Agile Team Coaching (ICP-ACC) Training you will gain a fundamental understanding in the differentiation between mentoring, facilitating, professional coaching and teaching while being an Agile Coach. Furthermore, you will learn in this remote training how to solve conflicts while creating a safe environment.

As an Agile Coach you will also learn a lot about mindest, roles and your responsibilities in regards to the agile team.

This ICAgile® Certified Agile Team Coaching (ICP-ACC) Training will introduce you to foundational team coaching skills and various team development concepts for starting and growing agile teams. We will also focus on teams and organisations as human systems and focus on developing an understanding of the professional coaching skillset and the value of honing these skills.

In this training you will meet different tools, frameworks and skills to becoma a better Agile Coach on your coaching journey through "real play" and not "role play".

During this ICAgile ® Certified Agile Team Coaching (ICP-ACC) online remote training you will learn and find answers to these things:

  • What is the desired internal wiring for an Agile Coach?
  • How can you develop an agile mindset?

He is an Agile, Business & Executive Coach - Certified Scrum@Scale Trainer® - Certified Team Coach® - Certified Scrum Professional® - Scrum Alliance REP Trainer - SAFe Programme Consultant® - Certified Leadership Agility® 360 Coach.

Ben is a certified LeSS Trainer and has coached, trained and been passionate about software and people since 2009.

You can attend this training, when you are an experienced or aspiring Agile Coach, a Scrum Master or Product Owner. This training is also sufficient for Professionals in an Agile Leadership Role or Scaling Agile Professionals and Enterprise Agile Coaches.

This course as ICAgile ® Certified Agile Team Coaching (ICP-ACC) is accredited by ICAgile and after successfully completing this training and demonstrating the required learning outcomes, you will receive an ICAgile Coaching (ICP-ACC) certification and credential.

You will also get 24 SEUs and 24 PDUs and will be able to download the courseware.

There are no hard prerequesites for this training. You should however have at least six month hands-on agile experience.

Furthermore, you will also need:

  • Drawing tools at home
  • A good internet connection
  • A webcam (that is turned on)
  • You must be able to use Zoom and Miro
  • You should be able to speak freely and be in a quiet room
  • One person, one device!

How do I attend?

To help you prepare for the training, we have collated some information about the tools that you will need access to for the live, online training, as well as answers to the most frequently asked questions from previous attendees.

Online Training Tools

What do I need for the training?

  • Zoom – We will be using Zoom to host the training including the features of video conferencing, screen sharing and breakout rooms. Please ensure that you have the latest version installed, that you have access to Zoom, and that your webcam is turned on as much as possible to maintain engagement. You will receive the Zoom call meeting details (link to join, Meeting ID and password) for the training in your course ticket email after you have booked your space. Please note that the Zoom call details will be the same for the full duration of the training.
  • MURAL – For all courses (other than the Certified LeSS Basics), will be using MURAL, an innovative and cutting edge platform for collaboration. Please check that you are able to access MURAL on the device you will be using for the course ahead of the training. You can read more about MURAL in our guide, link below.

  • Google Docs – You will also need to have access to Google Docs.
  • Emails – Please ensure you have access to the email address that was provided upon booking, as we will be sending you an email on the last day of the training to fill in the course register and continuous improvement form. Please note that as these are automated emails, they can sometimes go to your Junk folder.

As the training is online and we will be using a variety of tools at once, using a laptop, computer or device with a large screen is important to ensure that you can actively participate without the limitations of using a smaller device. Reliable internet connection is also vital – see more below.
