Wolfgang Richter

Wolfgang Richter has been immersed in the world of IT for over 30 years, starting in 3rd Level Support and moving on to roles such as department and division head, Requirements Engineer, Software Engineer, Project and Program Manager, Scrum Master, and Product Owner. His career spans continents—from Europe to the USA and Australia—offering him a rich tapestry of experience in complex corporate environments and large international projects.

Today, Wolfgang is the Managing Director of JIPP.IT GmbH in Austria, working as an Agile Coach and Trainer. He supports organizations in structuring their (often chaotic) transformations and is particularly focused on scaling agility within large enterprises without turning it into a bureaucratic nightmare.

He is a certified Scrum and LeSS Trainer, moderator of the LeSS Austria Community, and founder and lead organizer of the Agile Austria Conference. Academically, he holds qualifications in project management, computer science, business administration, and psychology—and has even written a dissertation comparing traditional and agile project management.

Wolfgang sees agility not just as a job, but as a passion. Infusing humor and creativity into his work, he blends his love of music and comedy into his training, creating songs about agility and work life that can be found on YouTube. His sessions offer deep expertise, practical insights, and a touch of rock 'n' roll.
