Level 1: Understanding AI for Leaders
A 2-day hands-on leadership program. Participants prepare on Campus with Henrik before Day 1, and continue with post-work and 30 days of sustained AI use after. Two individual coaching sessions translate insights into action within your specific organization.
Throughout the course, participants actively use Henrik and the Abundly agent-building platform. Not as a separate exercise, but as the way they engage with every topic.
1. The AI Shift: What Is Actually Changing
AI is not a technology trend. It is a fundamental shift in how work gets done, how organizations create value, and how leaders lead.
Understand how AI is changing the economics of knowledge work, software development, and service delivery. Learn why the cost of delivery is collapsing and why discovery (deciding what to build) is becoming the critical capability. Recognize why the current window of opportunity exists, why no one has a structural AI advantage yet, and why it is closing.
2. How AI Works: What Leaders Need to Know
You don't need to become a technologist, but you do need to make informed strategic decisions about AI.
Learn the core concepts behind large language models, generative AI, and AI agents. Understand the difference between personal AI assistants and organizational agent platforms. Discover what an AI agent actually is (model + instructions + tools + autonomy) and see real-world use cases across business functions. Explore the progression from personal AI use to organizational agent fleets.
3. The Economics of AI
AI decisions are business decisions. Understanding the economics is not optional for leaders.
Work with real pricing data from AI providers to understand cost structures: tokens, subscriptions, API usage, compute. Learn the difference between consumer AI subscriptions and enterprise usage. Identify key cost drivers when deploying AI at organizational scale, and recognize the economic asymmetry: the cost of AI tools is negligible compared to the cost of not adopting them.
4. AI Governance and Responsible Use
Governance is an enabler of AI adoption, not a barrier. Clear guidelines unlock faster experimentation.
Understand the key risks of AI adoption: hallucinations, data privacy, bias, security, and over-reliance on AI outputs. Identify the foundational elements of a governance framework: data guidelines, usage policies, decision rights, and accountability structures. Navigate the ethical considerations of deploying AI, including workforce impact, transparency, and responsible use.
5. Leading the AI Transformation: The Leader's Role
Leaders must go first. Personal AI usage by senior leaders signals organizational commitment and builds the judgment needed to lead transformation.
Learn the "enablement first, empowerment second" principle: why organizations must build AI literacy before expecting teams to transform. Understand the key elements of unlocking AI in an organization: access (tools for everyone), skills (structured learning), and application (real work, not sandbox experiments). Each participant leaves with a concrete action plan for unlocking AI in their organization.

Level 2: Applying AI for Leaders
Prerequisites
Completion of Level 1 (or equivalent). Participants should have been using AI regularly in their work before starting Level 2.
Level 1 built understanding. Level 2 builds execution capability. Leaders move from knowing what AI changes to actively redesigning strategy, building agents for their organization, designing the transformation journey, implementing governance, and creating the mechanisms that ensure AI capability keeps growing.
Level 2 is modular. It can be delivered as consecutive days or spread across sessions so participants can apply what they learn between modules. Participants produce tangible organizational artifacts: AI strategy, governance framework, transformation roadmap, agent architecture, business case.
1. AI Strategy and Business Model Redesign
Apply a strategic framework to redesign organizational strategy with AI as a core variable.
Analyze your organization's current make-vs-buy-vs-build decisions and identify where AI collapses the rationale for existing vendor relationships. Evaluate which business processes, products, or services are most impacted by AI. Assess data readiness and workforce implications. Design an AI-informed business model or value proposition for a specific part of your organization.
2. Building AI Agents and Applying AI at Scale
Move beyond personal productivity into team and departmental AI workflows.
Build functional AI agents on Abundly for real organizational use cases. Apply context engineering at depth: designing agent instructions, selecting tools, setting autonomy levels. Design agent architectures that involve multiple agents working together. Evaluate when to use personal AI tools versus organizational agent platforms versus custom-built solutions.
3. Designing the AI Transformation Journey
Transformation is not a project. It is a journey that requires deliberate design.
Design your organization's change journey toward AI adoption, including sequencing, quick wins, and long-term milestones. Apply change leadership principles: building coalitions, managing resistance, communicating vision, and sustaining momentum. Analyze operating model implications: how roles, team structures, decision rights, and workflows need to evolve.
4. AI Governance and Guardrails (Applied)
Move from understanding governance principles to designing the governance framework for your specific organization.
Design a governance framework covering data guidelines, usage policies, decision rights, and accountability structures. Evaluate ethical risks specific to your context: bias, workforce impact, customer-facing AI decisions. Apply responsible AI principles to real scenarios: what can be automated, what requires human oversight, and who is accountable. Incorporate regulatory requirements relevant to your industry.
5. Building the AI Capability Mechanism
AI capability does not grow by itself. It requires deliberate mechanisms: ownership, learning paths, and feedback loops.
Design the mechanism that ensures AI capability grows across your organization: who owns AI enablement, what learning paths exist, how literacy is measured, and how knowledge flows between teams. Evaluate different approaches (internal champions, communities of practice, formal training, embedded AI coaches) and select what fits your context.
6. Continuous Improvement in a Fast-Changing Landscape
AI capabilities change every few weeks. Your organization needs a rhythm for staying current.
Design an organizational rhythm for scanning, evaluating, and adopting new tools and capabilities. Apply experimentation frameworks: safe-to-try experiments, rapid prototyping, build-measure-learn cycles. Evaluate AI initiatives in progress: what is working, what is not, whether to scale, pivot, or stop. Design feedback loops that connect frontline AI usage insights back to strategic decision-making.

Level 3: Teaching AI for Leaders
Prerequisites
Completion of Level 2. Participants should have practical experience implementing AI initiatives in their organization.
A 3–6 month program that equips experienced leaders to drive AI literacy at scale within their own organizations. Instead of sending every leader to an external provider, your organization can develop internal AI for Leaders educators equipped with the knowledge, teaching skills, and scalable tools to deliver high-quality learning experiences internally.
This includes our course materials, e-learning offerings, Henrik, and Abundly. Our philosophy is enablement, not dependency: we teach your leaders to fish, not fish for them. Available as an individual or in-house offering only.
1. Mastering the AI for Leaders Content
Demonstrate deep understanding of all Level 1 material and the ability to teach it with confidence and adaptability.
Go beyond knowing the content to truly owning it. Understand the why behind every module, anticipate questions, and adapt explanations to different audiences and contexts. This is the foundation for credible, effective internal teaching.
2. Designing Internal AI Learning Experiences
Create and adapt training materials for your specific organizational context, industry, and culture.
Build original case studies based on real organizational experience. Adapt exercises and examples to resonate with your teams. Design learning journeys that fit your organization's rhythm, culture, and strategic priorities.
3. Facilitating AI Learning for Senior Audiences
Executive audiences require a different facilitation approach than typical training groups.
Demonstrate the ability to facilitate AI learning sessions for executive audiences, handling resistance, skepticism, and varying levels of technical comfort. Learn techniques for creating psychological safety in rooms where admitting "I don't understand AI" feels risky. Practice navigating challenging conversations about workforce impact, job displacement, and organizational change.
4. Building Sustainable Internal AI Education
A single training event is not a program. Sustainability means the learning continues after you stop delivering.
Design a repeatable internal program that can be maintained and updated as AI evolves, without ongoing external dependency. Build the feedback mechanisms, measurement approaches, and continuous improvement processes that keep the program relevant. Create a community of internal AI champions who sustain momentum beyond any single training.
5. Advanced AI Topics
Deepen your personal AI expertise beyond what is covered in Levels 1 and 2.
Explore advanced areas including multi-agent architectures, AI product development, emerging AI capabilities, and frontier model developments. This advanced knowledge gives you the depth and credibility to teach effectively and answer the tough questions your leaders will ask.

Frequently Asked Questions
AI for Leaders is designed exclusively for senior leaders: VPs, C-Level executives, Board members, Transformation Leads, and AI Leads. If you are responsible for leading your organization's AI transformation, not just understanding it, this program is for you.
This is not a generic "intro to AI" course. It is a leadership program that equips you to drive AI transformation personally, not by delegating it to consultants. No technical background is required.
Each level is a complete package:
- Hands-on in-person program (case-study driven, maximum 16 participants)
- Pre-work (3-4 hours): Watch, Read, Listen, Reflect
- 2 individual coaching sessions (1 hour each) with an Agile Academy Ambassador
- Post-work (3-4 hours): Learn/Execute, Build, Reflect
- Henrik AI Coach on Campus, 1 year unlimited access
- Abundly agent platform, 3 months including tokens
- Full leadership curriculum on Campus, 1 year access to all Agile Academy masterclasses
- AI for Leaders community, dedicated peer learning space
- Regular exclusive webinars featuring leading thinkers in AI and leadership
- Optional self-study materials for those who want to go deeper
The value of the coaching alone, the tool access, and a full year of the leadership curriculum makes the program investment about much more than seat time in a classroom. You are investing in a year-long learning journey and the ecosystem to sustain it.
The world's top business schools offer AI leadership programs. We cover the same strategic ground (AI strategy, governance, economics, organizational transformation) but we do three things differently:
- We teach from practice, not theory. Every Agile Academy educator uses AI daily in their own leadership and organizations.
- We give you the tools to keep going. Henrik AI Coach and the Abundly agent platform are included. No other program, at any price, includes this.
- We believe learning is a journey, not an event. Individual coaching, dedicated community, regular webinars, and a full year of curriculum access.

All of this at a fraction of what the top business schools charge. Because in AI, experience matters more than brand.
No. AI for Leaders is designed specifically for senior leaders. No programming or technical experience required. The hands-on agent building is guided and accessible. You'll be surprised how quickly you can build something real. The focus is on strategic leadership decisions, not technical implementation.
Leaders who want the complete journey can book Level 1 and Level 2 together at a 10% discount. The bundle includes everything from both levels: 4 coaching sessions total, continued access to all tools and community.
The bundle discount applies only when both levels are booked together. Leaders who book Level 1 first and add Level 2 later pay the full price for each level.
The journey is sequential. Each level builds on the previous one:
- Level 1: Understanding
Grasp what is changing, why it matters, and what it demands of you as a leader. 2-day in-person program. - Level 2: Applying
Move from understanding to execution. Redesign strategy, build agents, design your transformation journey. Modular format. - Level 3: Teaching
Equip yourself to drive AI literacy at scale within your own organization. 3-6 month train-the-trainer program.
Level 1 delivers immediate value on its own. Leaders can go deeper as they are ready. Each level includes pre-work, the in-person program, coaching, and post-work.
After the first year, participants can continue their access to Henrik and the Agile Academy community through Campus. The learning doesn't stop when the program ends. It's designed to create lasting capability.
