Yes, the TKP training is an official training from the training portfolio of Kanban University. Therefore you complete the course as a certified Team Kanban Practitioner.
No, there are no prerequisites for the TKP training. All experience levels are welcome, and no previous Kanban training or experience is required.
The TKP training course is offered as a one-day in-person course or as an eight-hour virtual course.
If you are a member of a team or a leader who wants to understand the key concepts in Kanban, the Team Kanban Practitioner course is an excellent starting point. More experienced practitioners might consider the Kanban System Design course.
Your choice really depends on your starting point and goals. If you'll be directly involved in designing and managing a Kanban system, the Kanban System Design course might be more suitable. However, if you feel you're new to Kanban and its concepts, the Team Kanban Practitioner course is recommended.
