Barbara Wiecher

Barbara Wiecher is a highly accomplished HR leader, change agent, and consultant with over two decades of experience in international HR, organizational development, and transformation. As the Founder of Your HR Lab, she now helps clients conceptualize and operationalize HR products, practices, and structures that support both agility and human-centered work. Her consulting spans strategy, training, coaching, and agile HR implementation. 

From 2022 to 2025 Barbara served as Director HR International at DKV Euro Service GmbH, overseeing HR across international markets. Earlier, she spent more than a decade at ista SE, where she held roles such as Agile Transformation Lead, Head of HR Global & Developing Markets, Director Talent & Organizational Development, and Senior Project Manager Corporate HR. Her long tenure in ista included acting as OKR Champion, helping align goals, foster transparency, and bring focus into HR work.

Barbara began her HR consulting career at Kienbaum Management Consultants as a Senior HR Consultant, laying the foundation for her expertise in strategy, diagnostics, and change. She holds credentials in psychology and leverages her understanding of human behavior to inform her HR design, communications, and change work.

Her global experience—in roles and residencies in Edinburgh, Pune, New York, and Johannesburg—adds depth to her ability to serve across cultures and contexts. Barbara is passionate about designing HR structures and practices that are transparent, adaptive, equitable, and performance‑oriented—always striving for HR that truly supports both people and strategy.
