This course is the online version of the Scrum Foundations Training, an interactive workshop that thrives on the participation of the participants. It just sticks better, when you actually apply the theory hands-on.

The theoretical content will be supported by visual facilitation techniques of the trainer, and are also part of the documentation provided by the course.

Day 1 (11:00 - 16:30):

  • Thorough introduction to the virtual tools that will be used during the training
    • Zoom: for virtual workgroups
    • Miro: virtual whiteboard for collaboration and retrospectives
    • Mentimeter: group feedback in retrospectives
    • Slack: group chat
    • Google Docs: document based collaboration

    • Theory of Empirical Process Control
  • The mechanics of the Scrum framework
    • Roles, Events and Artifacts

Day 2 (11:00 - 16:30):

  • The responsibilities of the Scrum roles (Scrum Master, Product Owner, Development Team)
  • Planning with the Product Backlog
    • Estimation, Splitting and Prioritization of User Stories
  • Agile Mindset and Agile Culture
    • Values and Principles

Trainer

Axel Berle is an international agile coach, trainer and developer, the latter for more than 20 years. His area of expertise is agile quality assurance with tools such as BDD and TDD. He lives in Brazil, where he is the founder and leader of the Scrum Alliance's Scrum & Agility Brasil meetup. He holds his training courses either in German, English, Portuguese or Spanish

Target audience: who are the participants?

This training course is primarily aimed at not only Scrum novices, leadership executives with a classic management education like project or product managers, but also actual product developers who will be working in an agile context and considering how they can benefit most from Scrum.

How do I obtain the certificate?

You can use this digital badge on LinkedIn, Facebook or other social networks and it can be checked directly.
