Axel Wilhelm Berle

Axel Wilhelm Berle is a Level 2 Ambassador of Agile Academy and serves as the CEO and Product Owner of Working-Agile.com, a Brazilian startup developing digital solutions tailored for law firms. Born and raised in Belgium, Axel pursued computer science studies in Koblenz, Germany, before relocating to Brazil, where he has resided for over 25 years.

Axel's Agile journey commenced in 2011 when he joined Payback Germany as a Java developer. This role took him from Brazil to Munich and subsequently to India, where he discovered his passion for Agile methodologies. Since then, he has dedicated himself to specializing in Scrum and Agility, aiming to assist others in embracing these practices.

Throughout his career, Axel has held roles as an Agile Developer, Scrum Master, trainer, and coach, working with organizations such as the National Bank of Kuwait, Magazine Luiza, Santander, Lufthansa Systems, DEKRA, DEVK, Seguros Sura, Syngenta, and Heine. His particular interest lies in Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), which he actively teaches and applies within his startup.

Axel is the author of the Scrum Alliance micro-credential course "BDD for Agile Teams" and is developing the "UX for Agile Teams" course, slated for release in the second quarter of 2025.
